Institutional Scholarships

CSU Global offers a number of scholarships to its students every trimester. While you can apply prior to being accepted to the university, you must be admitted to receive a scholarship. Please contact your Enrollment or Student Success Counselor for details and deadlines.

Academic Excellence Scholarship for students who have demonstrated exemplary focus and hard work in their educational endeavors by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.70
Alumni Continuing Education Scholarship for students who have earned their bachelor’s degree at CSU Global and choose to continue their education in a graduate-level program at the university.
Boundless Opportunity On-The-Horizon Scholarship for students who are close to finishing their bachelor's degree but may not be able to do so because of financial hardship.
Career Enhancement Scholarship for students who wish to gain new knowledge and skills to advance their career by earning a degree in their dedicated field.
Degree Completion Scholarship for undergraduate students who previously earned an associate’s degree and choose to work towards earning their bachelor’s degree.
Diversity Advocate Scholarship for students who are involved and engaged leaders in their communities.
CSU Global Mission Scholarship for students who embody the mission of Colorado State University Global by working to transform their lives by completing their degrees.
U.S. Military Personnel and Family Scholarship for U.S. Military personnel and their families for their service to our country.

There are many scholarships for college students out there, and we encourage you to seek them out. Any number of corporations and organizations offer scholarship opportunities with specific eligibility criteria. Here are some valuable tips for scholarship applications.

In addition to CSU Global’s institutional scholarships listed above, many corporations and organizations offer scholarship opportunities and we encourage you to seek them out. In each case, you must meet the particular eligibility criteria and application requirements to be considered. Some resources that might help with your search include:

General Scholarship Terms and Conditions

The following general terms and conditions apply to all CSU Global institutional scholarship programs. Please see the individual scholarship pages for eligibility criteria which may supersede the general terms and conditions outlined below. Terms and conditions for other online college scholarships may vary.

The application must be completed in full and submitted by the deadline for that award period to be considered. Additional criteria or documentation for the specific scholarship program for which the applicant is applying must also be met.
All eligibility requirements must be met by the student at the application deadline.
Employees of the Colorado State University System are not eligible for CSU Global institutional scholarships.
Students can receive only one scholarship per award period unless otherwise specified by the specific scholarship criteria and award amounts can be applied to future courses only.
Scholarship award recipients will be determined solely by the CSU Global Scholarship Committee. All decisions are final.
Recipients must pay all student account balances prior to receiving scholarship awards.
Recipients must be in Good Academic Standing with the university as defined in the catalog and maintain quality academic progress while being awarded the scholarship.
Scholarship recipients must maintain continuous enrollment.
Scholarships awarded by credit hours are awarded at the student’s lowest approved tuition rate after all other discounts have been applied.
Award amounts apply for CSU Global tuition only and have no cash value. Additional educational expenses are the responsibility of the recipient.
Unless otherwise noted, scholarship recipients must complete a new application to be considered in subsequent award periods.
Policies are subject to change at the sole discretion of the scholarship committee or the university.
